I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare—specifically in prevention—and originally planned to become a pediatrician. But when I was introduced to chiropractic in college, everything changed. I started getting adjusted regularly to keep up with my active lifestyle, and I’ll never forget the day my mom and I walked out of an appointment, and I said, “I feel like a new person.” That was the moment I realized that true prevention doesn’t come from medicine—it starts with the nervous system, and chiropractic is the key.
Growing up, I relied on daily medications for hormonal issues and chronic, weekly migraines. But under nervous-system-focused chiropractic care, my body finally began to heal. I was able to come off all medications, and that transformation ignited a deep passion in me—to bring hope and answers to moms, parents, and children navigating their own health struggles.
With a strong focus on pediatrics, pregnancy, and family wellness, I built Every Step Chiro to empower families to take charge of their health and unlock their full potential. I am especially passionate about supporting women through preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum, as well as caring for their little ones from the very start.

Dr.Irene Bernshteyn graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2004 and has over 20 years of experience in chiropractic care. She is certified in pediatric and family chiropractic care by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has earned a Certificate of Proficiency in Pediatric and Family Chiropractic Care from Life University and The Pediatric Experience. In addition, she is also certified in the Webster Intrauterine Constraint Technique. Originally from the Chicago area, she now calls Boca Raton home. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and their three boys, soaking up the Florida sunshine.
